iOS 4.0 Redsn0w update bricked my ipod :(

    i successfully jailbroke my 16gb 2nd gen MB ipod on 4.0 with redsn0w then the update came up so i thought id redo it just in case and it froze at waiting to reboot. I unplugged it after a while and now it wolnt go into dfu turn on or do anything help?

    Don't panic, it's pretty much impossible to"brick" an iPod, just keep trying to get into DFU mode, or try a program that does it for you

    im not panicking and ive been around since the ipod touch 2g came out so i know what im doing and ive tried pretty much everything or i wouldnt have come here recovery dfu hard reboot rejailbreaking switching ports im really at a loss here

    Did you restore before you used the updated redsnow or did you run it on an already jail broken iPod? Have you tried DFU?

    i did run it on a already jailbroken ipod please read the original post before asking questions

    Well thats obviously what you did wrong. You should always restore before jail breaking when re jail breaking. DFU then restore!

    wow u rly dont pay attention at all first of all rejailbreaking normallly works as long as a restore is not required regardless if that was the problem if u actually read my post you would know i already tried that and much more so please dont give me advice if u wolnt even read the posts prior to your own.
