redsn0w semi help desperate

    i have just semi tethered jailbroke my ipod touch 2g an i booted into jailbroken side and no cydia is there a way to add cydia to a ipsw file without pwnage tool i used a program called redjolt to jailbreake as i was having no luck but can someone help asap

    if your on windows, use xpwntool to create a ipsw with cydia on it.

    You added the files to pwnagetool wrong. Refer to my RedJolt thread, I posted instructions in there on how to add the files.

    did you not read that he said to create a ipsw cydia without pwnagetool, but used redjolt to jb.

    Oh. Where ever you got your firmware from, it was made wrong.

    look right i created an ipsw package with cydia in pwnage tool and ran through the redjolt jailbreak and i booted jailbroken side but to no avail was cydia there

    p.s. dont treat me like a dumbass who doesnt know how to use pwnage tool

    Just try to remake the IPSW, or go and download one. Somebody posted a link to a FirmWare that was made on the mac. It has Cydia working perfectly.
