I have an ipod touch 2g non mc model and I'm having problems jail breaking it. Its on 4.0 right now but when I use redsn0w(latest Version) it gets to where it says waiting for reboot and just stays there, meanwhile my ipod stays with the white screen and doesn't reboot or anything I had it jail broken with spirit prior but.

While jailbreaking what that screen comes up, quickly remove the sync cord from iPod and put it back in quickly. I heard this somewhere i think I did it once and it worked but I can't remember.

You will have to restore. Force your iPod Touch off then get into DFU mode and restore. Then jailbreak it again.

I'm also having another problem with my iPod. the problem is that the date and time were wrong on my comp when I synced it so the date is wrong on my iPod and I have to change it manually but it always changes back to the wrong day any help.

I've already done that but it doesn't change it to the correct time when it syncs its stays on the wrong date.
