As I'm jailbreaking, and my iPod has a white screen it gets to step 2 says reboot, and then just skips to "Done!" It never gets to stage three. Could libusb be the problem? I've tried uninstalling it, but it just makes my mouse and keyboard freeze.

I'm on a clean 3.0, and I just uninstalled libusb, but still no success.

I'm guessing you all have Windows Vista.

If you do, you need LibUSB.
Make sure you run it as Admin and Compatibility mode,Windows XP Service Pack.

    Install LibUSB FIRST!!

Get redTool and go to properties run as Admin and Compatibility, Windows XP Service Pack.

    It should work fine now.
    That's how I fixed mines.
