    Hey,
I was wondering if anybody else has noticed that jailbreaking an iPod Touch (2 gen) will fail every time if you choose to install ICY. I have jailbroken 5 different iPods already and each time Redsn0w "stopped working" while uploading RAMDISK.
I was wondering if anybody else noticed this and was just pointing it out as i find ICY runs faster as Cydia, however the last Cydia update sped things up alot.

Thats something wrong with your system, because I have both Icy and Cydia installed and I installed them at jailbreak. Before, I tried to do it on a 64 bit OS and I got the same thing as you, so that could be the problem

I used my Vista x64 System at first which didn't work out.
Then I used my XP System and it worked fine.
But I don't know if that was my problem because when I tried it with XP I used the USB port on the back of the PC, with Vista I always used the front port.
So my advice is try it with the port on the back and if that doesn't work try it with an XP system.

On Vista you might have to run it in xp compatibility mode and then run as admin.

Icy. Sucks. It needs some of Cydia's core services anyways, just get Cydia and make your life a whole lot easier...

Dear RiPDev, GO DIE. YOU CANT PROGRAM FOR sh*t.

I fixed that up for everybody.

Icy is faster than Cydia and if Icy is a Cydia rip off then Cydia is an Installer rip off?

I like Icy because of the speed. you dont have to wait FOREVER every time it loads.

But I jailbroke on my Vista x64 and it worked fine - first try
