    Is there any way to decompile redsn0w, i want to try it out to patch somethings on my ipod, but i can't figure out how to decompress the redsn0w executable. has anybody done it?

    But if i already have the IPSW built, can i just restore with it in itunes?

    That won't be possible.

    You could do it if you upgraded XPwn probably. If you know how to, from Command Prompt and all that.

    so you're hypothesizing that XPWN can patch the iboot files and make it boot 'Verbosely' (lol) that's a nice idea, i'll look into that with my (not so) hacker skills.

    I had trouble just getting the executable out of the zip file on vista without my computer freaking out about filename conflicts, let alone decompile the whole thing lol.
