I just got a 16GB iPhone 3G. I was doing a jailbreak on it and redsn0w crashed during the jailbreak. Now I'm stuck with a connect to iTunes screen and error on my PC saying that a USB device has malfuctioned and Windows doesn't recognise it.

    I was jailbreaking using redsn0w 0.8.

How the heck can I fix this...?

DFU again and run redsn0w again, hopefully it didnt crash while it was on an important stage

What's DFU? :x When you turn it off, hold the home button + power button etc? Cause I can't even turn it off, it's stuck with a "connect to itunes" screen, but my pc isn't recognising it.

Edit: phew, it worked without turning it off, thank god. lol

    Plug up to a computer.
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for 10 seconds
Then let the sleep button go and keep holding home for 10 seconds
    Now run redsn0w again.
