Red Hat 5.2 dualbooting help

    hi, i just found red hat in my closet, it is version 5.2 (i know its old btw i can update it) and i need to know how to dual boot with windows XP SP3, i already have windows installed so...

    Dear God, don't try dist-upgrading an RPM based distribution.

    Resize your Windows partition so you've got 11GB of free space. Install the newest version of your favorite distro and use a 1GB swap and the rest goes to the root partition.

    ^^ thats impossible, i am using 40GB of my 80 GB HD, can i just install it on a second 15GB hd?

    Yes, you could do that as well.

    And I don't see how that is impossible, either.
