    Hi,

I'm trying to find the WEP/WPA in my system files via OpenSSH. I haven't really gotten any success but im guessing it has to do with this location /private/var/preferences/SystemConfiguration and found the file com.apple.wifi.plist it has a whole bunch of random garble that i can't understand. I was wondering if someone can look into this and try to decode the messages so I can recover the WEP or WPA. I'd like to know this because at my school this one student entered in the password into my iPod but wouldn't tell me the wireless password so i want to know if for my self so I can have it in a safe place just in case. I'll try to help out as best as i can if you need more information. and i was also wondering if this
    Code:
    <string>32D17BCD-1F04-4CB5-8AF2-3A578293EDA5</string>
    has to do with anything.

    thanks,
    alc

It's most likely encrypted, don't even bother.

If you can figure out the algorithm that was used to encrypt it you will be able to decrypt it. But chances are you won't be able to find it, I've already tried a little.

Put a keylogger on a laptop or something and have him enter it on that.

You can download an app from Cydia called WiFi Password and it will list all passwords previously entered on the device. It is available on the bigboss repo.
