I just purchased an Emson iPod Supercharger, a device that recharges iPod batteries in four different ways: From an auto's cigarette lighter socket, from an 110 volt electrical outlet, from a PC's USB port and from a 9 volt battery. While traveling and watching movies, should I immediately snap a 9v battery onto this charging unit and then connect it to my 'Touch, to theoretically extend its internal battery life—or should I wait until the internal battery is partially discharged before connecting this unit—or should I completely discharge the 'Touch and leave it off while recharging?
