Hi guys, I recently bought a iPod Touch (4 hours ago)
Everything works well, very well actually ..
But the only thing that doesn't work.. Is the WIFI.

It sees the connection, it says that the connection has a pass, I GIVE the pass and yet it says; password incorrect.

When my router is not secured I can connect easily to the net.. I just don't get it.

Yes I tried to reset the iPod, yet the same problem.. Please some help..

If you can change the type of key, try using a 64-bit ASCII key. (I think it's 64-bit). If not then I don't know what to tell you. Do you have it set for shared or open system?

put in your routers IP address into your URL bar on the top of your web browser, you should be able to see the exact password being used (if it wants a name and pass just use admin and password)

I'm using a WEP encryption, using key 2
I've disable the WEP encryption for now, will work over a hour on this.

Is there anyway to let the iPod know to use Key 2?
But I still need some tips if possible.

check to see if your typing in the wrong pass. type very slowly. Also check if thats the right pass, you could have changed it earlier.∞

A quick update on what I've done today.

I called the Apple Support desk, told my problem.
The guy said to me to wait a bit, then he came back on line.
Said to me, you're encryption is a old one (WEP) it's not supported by the iPod Touch device.

So I've started to change my WEP encryption to a WPA code, and since then everything is working fine.

Thanks to everyone who has replied.
    Peace out !
