If you are having problems with your 3GS's battery you most likely have a fault. I just got my unit replaced and already the battery life is completely destroying my other 3GS's. I've been using the iphone (just after full charge) for about 30 mins on wifi, playing some games, listening to some music, videos etc, and the battery hasnt dropped a percent. On my old unit, about 5 minutes of gaming, video etc would take about 2-3% away, 30 mins using up about 15% of the battery.

Personally i think its the unit that you have, mine is a week 26 model, and my previous was week 25.

Just a heads up, this new battery life really has made me even more impressed with the 3GS (plus this new one doesnt rattle :O)

Wow nice, but did they give you a new one or a refurb?

Wow thats great battery life but it seems unrealistic. Apple (unrealisticly) rates the 3GS' wifi browsing battery life at 9 hours. Yours should be down at least 5%.

My battery life is terrible. It's like 2-3% for every 7 minutes or so of gaming.

If you are up for the effort, just take it to where you bought
it and they should just do an outright swap. If they even mention a repair tell them you have had it for less than a month

Look at the serial number on the box, it's the 4th and 5th letters.
I preordered it from Apple.com and there are no Apple stores in town, so I'm kind of boned.

I ordered mine on AT&T about 5-6 days after the 3GS launch, and got it a week after. The 4th & 5th number on my Serial No. on the back of the iPhone box are 21. Is this bad?!

I live in the US, and am soon going to apply a Bodyguardz on it and stuff, but if a return is possible, and a "21" is bad, then I may try.
