When I reboot (hold down the power and home button) my iPod Touch 2G, jailbroken on 3.1.2 firmware, it just comes up with a white screen after about 15-20 minutes of showing the black screen with the Apple logo. I then have to reboot it again and wait for another 15-20 minutes and then my iPod works fine. An obvious shortcut would be to not wait the full time to reboot it the first time and just skip to the second one

don't worry I'm not THAT stupid haha.

    So my questions are:

Is 15-20 minutes a reasonable time for my iPod to reboot once?

    and

Is it normal for my iPod to come up with a blank white screen on the first reboot? Does anybody else have this problem?

    Thanks guys

well, I really want to avoid restoring my iPod because I have a lot of sh*t on there that I don't want to put back on, I'm too lazy lolz. And the problem is, I only have to restart my iPod because it freezes ALL THE TIME.

hey, well I ended up restoring my ipod.. i made the mistake of not doing anything about it while I still could lol. it was stuck on the reset screen and I just restored it to 3.1.2 firmware i downloaded from the internet so I can jailbreak it with blackra1n.
