Reboot options from Term-vt100?

    Hi all,

    Was just wondering if theres a way to reboot the ipod touch in verbose mode from command line... Just to see what happens, really.

    in the Term-vt100 type this (warning, its a lot to type):

    Is it possible to respring it then? I have crashed it several times but I know it was running mostly messing with apps so when i double click home the music thing would come up but home was frozen.

    , but I was asking how I could perhaps set an option to boot in text mode...to see the boot sequence etc...

    the commands should be:

    Code:
    nvram boot-args="-v"
    reboot
    SOURCE

    i havent tried it yet

    ive been trying to do this for ages but i keep getting :
    nvram: Error (-1) setting variable - 'boot-args'
    and then after i put reboot:
    reboot: operation not permitted

    anyone help ?

    Half an hour bump. Congrats.

    EDIT: BTW, -v puts it in SAFE MODE. Or, at least in Mac OS X it does.
