I never reboot my ipod when i make changes in the system or via ftp I just open SMBPrefs.app and I select the same theme I got and automatic reboots but without shutting off the ipod.

Download System Info or "sys info" Theres a reboot button on the main menu of it.

Do you mean reboot or respring (restart the touch or just the springboard to refresh apps and icons)? I can do either, but I made one for my own use to respring since I have to do that often. (whenever I add an app manually or change an icon). I can easily modify it to restart the touch instead though, if that's really what you want. As someone else mentioned, the SysInfo app has both options already. I made mine only because I wanted a much faster and easier way. Mine has no confirmation dialog and is just 1 click from the Springboard.
