Hi, i was wondering, why no jailbreak has managed to activate the fm receiver and wifi N chip? Somehow i was under the impression that once you cn control the firmware, you could do anything, but i guess i must have been wrong.

what is it that stops someone, for example, from making an app that directly acccesses the hardware with the driver included in the program?

Its probably possible, people have been able to enable more features from the bluetooth chip than apple gives us with stock devices. I haven't seen anyone that's tried to do it yet though, it would be a pretty mammoth task

First off you need a code to activate it. And second you need an app which will do so when opened. But sadly apple is the only ones that know the code.

We must infiltrate apple with 150 agents from all across the world and retrieve that single line of code will be ours to manipulate! We will have the power of FM RADIO in our GRASP!!!
