Really Simple Question

    I was wondering what a character is called. It's some written character, and it looks like a longer version of a lowercase l. If you want to see an example, go to maclife.com and you'll see that it's MaclLife (with the l thing between the Mac and Life). So if someone knows what that thing is called and/or how to type in on a Mac I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

    Hmmm... well the keyboard shortcut doesn't work for some reason (yes, the one in the link) but thanks for letting me know what it's called.
