My mom set up a wifi router with WPA2 encryption. I know the password, but when I enter it in, sometimes it will accept the password but still say it can't connect to the network. Other times, it won't even accept the password. I know for fact, beyond the shadow of a doubt that I have the right password. Any suggestions? This is f***in pissin me off that I have to use my neighbors sh*tty wifi when I have a router 10 ft away. Please help.

try setting the network to WEP, WPA2 would never work with my ipod when i had it, so i downgraded.

    hope this helps...

Try using WPA instead of WPA2 as it is still good security. If you have to use WEP but WPA is better security than WEP.

I can't change it. It's my moms network and she won't let me screw with it. (I had the same problem when it was set to wep) The only time I could connect to it is when it was open.

then it might be a port problem

if it is, then u wont be able to fix it, cause you cant "screw around with ur moms router"
