    Hey guys
I've got an iPhone 4 with the apple earphones and as much as I love the mic and volume buttons, the sound quality is just lacking.

I've had a pair of $80 Sennheisers before except I believe the chord broke?

Have a 3-4 year running Sony MDR G74SL but gave that to my brother.

And I was using the JVC Marshmallows until I lost them (ah they're so cheap and fairly durable) , so I've been using the apples one for a while... Saving money but I really would like a better pair of quality earphones.

I'm sort of on a budget but may be willing to dish out a bit more for some good earphones but preferably under $50

    My preferences are:
Decent sound quality (anything must be better than apples..)
Durability (I like the chord on the sony one :S)
    Bass (Would be nice)
    Sound Isolation (optional)
In-Ear (or something comfortable, didn't particularly like the marshmallows for some reason but got used to it)

Thanks all, any response/suggestion would be much appreciated.

except which ones do I get?
    what's the difference between the
    25 discounted and 30? :S
and is it worth to pay 5-10 bucks more for the microphone hm..

if you are coming from apple buds, then v-moda, skulcandy and other generic brands will sound good to you. Once you try some real 'phones, then you can confirm for yourself.

there was a time when I was happy with my skullcandy rofl
