download this file:http://www.[PIRACY.mf].com/download.php?zlyq1eyn1in place it to your download folder. if browser is safari, itll be in the Downloads folder automatically..

(copy paste the bold text in the terminal window)

    - fire up terminal and type sudo -s (enter your password)
    - rm -r /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext (this will delete the original file so i suggest you back it up first)
    - mv /Users/User/Downloads/IOUSBFamily.kext /System/Library/Extensions (replace user (text in red) w your macs username)
    - sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext
    - sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext
    - rm /System/Library/Extensions.mkext
    - as an extra precation you can run disk utility and repair permission (optional)
    - reboot

When you Pwn your iphone/ipod touch it is possible (not likely) that you can still get the error pop up but it does not effect anything and it all still works!
now you can DFU on mac osx 10.5.5/6 unibody or not.. enjoy!

I'll keep in mind when I upgrade to 10.5.6. I didn't upgrade because it got rid of the battery meter drop down with all the battery saver stuff on my MacBook

This works well if you want to use DFU... but it doesn't work if you want YOUR COMPUTER TO CONTINUE WORKING! Doing this will eventually lead to ALL USB PORTS NOT WORKING!!! NO DFU, NO KEYBOARD, NO MOUSE, NO FLASH DRIVES, NO EXTERNAL HHD THROUGH USB, NO USB PERIOD!!! In other words, it's going to force you to RESTORE YOUR COMPUTER!

Yeah , I just learned yesterday after applying a quicktime update , and doing this , you'll lose all functionality of keyboard and mouse etc.
I frantically found a way to reverse it yesterday.
