I was considering buying an iPad, but right now I am holding out, until I can find a real usage for this thing. I am still in school, so this is not something I can bring wherever i go. I saw one in the Apple Store and was not particularly impressed. i was just wondering if any iPad owners could tell me what, and how they use their iPads each day...thanks

Get an iPod Touch 4G in September. Or save up for an iPhone. Buying an iPad you can do, when you got everything else

The bigger the screen the richer the people owning it xD

Well I'm currently in college and currently trying to get into uni, and I use my iPad for Slideshows and documents, also for quick searching the Internet !..

I mean I bought the 16gb wifi version it does me for everyday needs and was cheap at the same time, I think when apple releases the 4.0 software update they will add a lot more unique features that the iPhone and iPod don't have which will take justice of the ipads large screen and features !..

Web Browsing and watching movies. The battery life is amazing, so it makes those a no-brainer.

I was really surprised by how awesome it was. Definitely exceeded my expectations, and I had high expectations!

You'll find you'll use it for different reasons you thought off. I found myself reading PDF magazines regularly on it through iBooks. Jobs isn't lying about the web, it is awesome on it. And yer, the battery life is epic

The games are awesome though. But you really need to get the iPad version of apps really, the double pixal thing doesn't work well for the majority of apps. Super Monkey Ball excluded. That looks epic.

    1. Is it much better than a a computer web browser? I didn't think so in the 5 minutes i got to use it at the Apple store.

    2. I always thought this would be impractical. It looks like its hard to prop up without a case, and even then, the screen isn't that big, so you might as well watch on your computer or TV.

I use mine all day from 10-11am until about 10 pm. The battery life is amazing, it doesn't get hot like my iPhone, with this I can play BIA2 more than 1 hour and it's somewhat warm. My iPhone gets so hot that it nearly burns your finger after just 15-20 minutes in the game. I use it primarily for web browsing and YouTube. Right now it's at 23%. 10% is about an hour of usage. I seriously hope the iPhone 4 has better battery life, and doesn't burn my finger so that I can play more than 30 minutes on it. My iPad does everything I wanted it to do, I find it very useful. I'm actually abroad now(my homeland), and I didn't even use the laptop, just my iPad.

I use it for web browsing, watching movies, playing games, and reading books. I've never really taken it outside but I use it a lot at home.

Once you get one, try out ipad.tvcatchup.com on it. (UK only sorry.)

Freeview channels on the iPad. iPod touch and iPhone versions also avaliable, it's crystal clear on the iPad! I would recommend this!!
