ok i just gotta ask something real important. when firmware 2.0 comes out, those with jailbroken 1.1.4, do we have to restore our ipod before installing 2.0?? because all my apps are on 2nd partition. i remember when i had 1.1.2 jail broken, and i installed 1.1.4 on top of it, it messed up my ipod. so i had to restore it. i lost all my music

. so does that mean before i install 2.0, i have to manually uninstall all the apps (because they are on different partition than the OS)??? or do i need to restore to original jailbroken firmware in order to install 2.0 on it??? please help!

I think you should manually erase your ipod

Wrong section. You van do it directly, but press restore, then "restore and update" it's the same (almost the same) thing as the "shift restore 1.1.4"+"update 2.0"

Restoring and updating will get rid of all of the apps.
