You can read pdf in landscape mode if ruBooks is already in landscape mode when you open your pdf...

If you mean hold the ipod touch sideways and then open ruBooks it doesn't work for me. I can't get ruBooks to go into Landscape mode no matter what I do. How do I read PDF files in Landscape mode using ruBooks?

click the rotate button in the bottom left, when you have an ebook open, then open up a pdf. it will be in landscape.

What do you mean the rotate button when I have an ebook open? The PDF is the ebook. There is no rotate button when I open up my PDF either..But you said to use a rotate button before I open the PDF but how do I do that when that's the only book file I have.

Actually there's a workaround - open any text/html file, rotate the view (bottom-left button), go back and open your PDF - it will be in landscape mode. The mode will also kept for next launches of the application.

    download up a non-pdf ebook.
    open it.
click the button in the bottom left. it looks like an arrow rotating. or a refresh button, if you will.
open up your pdf. it should be in landscape.
