Sorry if this is a tad off topic, but would openiboot make it possible to have untethered jailbreaks because we could have a modified iboot with a hole in it for the purpose of using a jailbreak tool?

No. If OpeniBoot was installed to the NOR with a tethered bootrom exploit then it would be very unstable. Plus you need a BOOTROM EXPlOIT not an IBOOT EXPLOIT. There both very different things.

OK I have a question.(It may be impossible to fix) I had a 3g itouch, that I updated with iOS4. Then I tried jailbreak me. It worked for a day, then I tried to install 5 wide apps page thing. It went into something called safe mode. Then I tried to restore all data, to get everything back to normal. After 15 minutes, the wheel(in the middle of the screen) stopped. Whenever I hold the buttons for 15 sec., it will go, then stop after 5 min.
PLEASE HELP ME!! How can I fix it??
