So i need to install rock and i cant use cydia cause its dead right now. and i dont have icy. i also dont have mobile terminal working. Great... well so i used blackra1n to jailbreak and i uninstalled the blackra1n app that appears when you jailbreak to get the package managers. well i tried that again and its not coming back. is there a way that i can make it come back so i can get rockapp?

Thanks in advance. (i like to explain my posts as much as i can so its straight foreward.)

I've ran into this issue before and couldn't get it back. I think you have to manually install it through SSH, that's what my friend said he did when this happened to him. You could always try giving Cyder a run, if it'll work with Cydia 'dead'.

nope blackra1n remembers when you uninstall blackra1n so you have to restore your iPod Touch and rejailbreak

    So, I was correct.

Couldn't you manually install Cydia or Rock though through SSH?

When you run black rain it creates a text file. Could you in theory find the line in the text file about the app and edit it? Then run black rain and have the app back?
