I have just recently moved from an untethered to a tethered jailbreak, and now most of my applications don't show up after installing them from iTunes. I used QuickFreedom to jailbreak it, and used the "already jailbroken" option when creating the firmware. I am not sure what is causing the problem, as iTunes "syncs" the applications, but I cannot see them from the SpringBoard. After this, I created a new firmware without the "already jailbroken" option, and I still have the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I can install the apps from the AppStore, but that would be rather tedious...

I think you mean tethered to untethered. Do you have Sbsettings? If so open it up, tap more, then go to hide applications, are the apps there?

Go into the Poof icon in SBSettings and make sure its all unchecked inside it. If that dosen't work try a Force reboot. If that doesent work Restore to original firmware then jailbreak, then make sure to set your Ipod up as New device.

Did you have those apps in categories and then restored from backup?
