True. It took I think at least 3-4 years before XBMC was even stable on the Xbox, and it had way more many users than Raspberry Pi ever will. Also, the Xbox was coded specifically with gaming in mind, which meant fast boot times etc. which Linux itself seems to lack.
Just as an update to anyone who cares. If you have an outstanding order or care in general, the RasPi Model B (which most everyone has) has been updated with 512MB of RAM instead of 256MB. Tis what you get for early adoption I s'pose. >.> http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/2180
