Yesterday, i started the Boot Camp process on my mac, running OS X Leopard. For those who don't know, Boot Camp is an application that means you can run windows on your mac, and for me, this is very helpful cos i use alot of applications that only come for windows. Anyway, somewhere along the line, there was a problem and i couldnt continue. I went to the apple site and browsed the support section, and no luck. I re-tried about 5 times and then decided it as time to call "The Apple Helpline". The automated voice came up, "press 1 for Iphone related issues, 2 for an ipod, and 3 for a computer". I hit 3. The voice said the estimated time to get hold of someone was 5 minutes or less. 23 minutes later, and nothings happening. 25 minutes later, and the line randomly goes dead. Call it again, hit 3, now she says Eight minutes or less. about 15-20 minutes later i'm put through to someone. "Finally!" i gasp. The guy on the other end of the telephone line goes, "so, your calling about an iPhone, right?" So i say, "No, i pressed 3, I want to talk to a guy about computers." he says "Sorry, mate, they've put you through to the iPhone department but if you give me your serial number, i can put you through". After about 5 minutes of arguing whever a B is a P or not, and him blatantly wasting my time and money, he says,"Ok, so your gonna be put into the que" and without time for me to protest, and say ive been in a que for 40 mins already, i hear some stupid holding music. About 5 mins later, the same guy picks up, and says "Aw, Im sorry Mate but all the computer specialists left about minute ago, you JUST missed them. Sorry, better luck next time" and the phone went dead. I mean, WTF??? Thats just ridiculous, AND its gonna have cost about 35 quid as it took so long. SCREW YOU, APPLE!
