    ok so

i am emulating pokemon crystal on my ipod at the moment

i've been working on it for a few weeks and i was going to try and clone my eevee so i can get all the evolutions of it =P

the typical way to do this would be to save, put it in your pc, change the box and turn off the power as the game was saving then.

    This hasn't worked for me

    so i'm wondering

has anyone done this before? how did you do it?
did you save your game or save your savestate? :S

I don't think cloning works during emulation.

really? because i managed to do it on pokemon yellow by accident. I had a scyther deposited in my PC and I must have not saved my game properly. I ended up with 2 of them.

I'm not sure exactly how you tried it, but here is the correct method:
Deposit your Pokemon in an empty box. Change boxes. When it asks you to save, power off when the 't' in 'don't' appears.
