~My iPod's RAM is too small and apps keeps crashing and i cant download anything! I have SBsettings installed and free the memory but it still crashes apps could there be a possible reason for this and a way to increase it either phyically or technologically?

does any one else have this problem?

Also my ipod crashes as a whole (the substrate)! Help!?

You can try to remove some launch daemons. Guide is somewhere around here. You will need either the iFile app or SSH.

You can try turning off some mobile substrates if you don't need them through Sbsetting>more>mobile substrate addons

If those still don't help then try virtual memory. My favorite is the .plist one.

Does the Virtual Memory still work? I put the .plist in my iPod and when i free'd up the meory it just gave me the never ending loading circle. Then When i restarted my iPod Tuch it went in safe mode.

    I'm on iOS 4.

I heard that there's one Virtual memory that works on 4.0 but don't remember the names. The .plist one only works with 3.x.x.

Your topic is about RAM and you don't know what it is?

Ms extenstions is I'm thinking Mobile Substrate Extenstions, their what apps like Winterboard and backgrounder use to stay in the background.
