I'm trying to decide whether to stay jailbroken and wait for 2.0 to be hacked, or upgrade right away

So here is my question: seeing what you guys have seen from the betas and other things, if we ever jailbreak/pwn 2.0 will we be able to change it so application can run in the background?

Ok, you know how when you press the home button on 2.0, the app quits, compared to 1.1.x when most of the time it runs in the background?

Well, will we ever be able to make apps run in the background on 2.0?

How about we let them get the firmware jailbroken and then we can worry about that. Apple says no.
