    Quite an unusual problem

Okay, so my iPod Touch 2G was Jailbroken, and I decided I wanted to reset it, So I reset it via settings (on the iPod) everything was going well, it went to the screen with the apple and the loading bar, about half an hour later it was finished, the screen turned black for a second and was re-booting (the re-boot screen was a pineapple, which I had when it was jailbroken) BUT it just stays on this screen. I've tried putting it into DFU mode and I've tried resetting it so it turns off then plugging it in but so far nothing has worked. I'd really appreciate some help.

    Restore it in iTunes.

Have you tried turning it off, holding JUST the home button while plugging it in?

It worked, Some guy came up saying something in another language, but that's just an alternative to the regular DFU mode screen. I'm restoring it now. Thanks for your help.

Okay, So after I done all this, and I was restoring and updating my iPod, after the iPod firmware was done downloading through iTunes, nothing happened. My iPod is still stuck on the pineapple boot screen.
