amm when you quickpwn your ipod, and its asks to power off for 5 seconds and all of this..
do you really have to hold 30 seconds home button ? isnt it just enters DFU mode wich require only 10 second of home button ?

You just hold it until the "Proccesses" part starts scrolling. They just say 30 seconds so that you don't let go after 10 seconds only to find out that you let go a little too early. They're just being safe and telling you to hold it for 30.

Yes. QuickPwn reboots it to kick it out of DFU mode though, so everything stays safe and snuggly in the depths of your iPod's filesystem until it is rebooted by QuickPwn.

Is it required to be in DFU before you start it?

Nah, you just go in in normal mode, with the iPod on.

Then, it'll tell you directions and buttons to press to get it into DFU mode.
