    Hey guys, great forum.

I'm having a LOT of trouble with quick freedom. So Im on windows XP, installed LIB (Nothing stopped working) and have the proper IPOD21 IPSW file. So I begin with Quickfreedom, create a custom IPSW and so on. I get to the point where I can put my Ipod into DUF mode and it says patching is complete, now hit restore (using shift + click, select CUSTOM firmware) and allow to install.

Heres lies my problem. When i hit custom install, iTunes extracts the files, prepares to use them, then it says.. Ipod "Ipod" somethin somthing uknown error.

Im running firmware 2.2.1 (I dont know if thats the case as of now, after I've applied the patch in DUF mode, maybe its changed) I've read the forums and no one else has this problem.. What the..

Ive been trying to do this for so long now, i really want help fast!

(Doies it matter waht Itunes version im running? Im running 8.1)

BTW This is 2nd gen iTouch

Click on the redsn0w link in my sig and download it.
Just put your iPod into DFU Mode and run the program.

there is absolutely nothing we can do with "something ipod unknown error" we need exact errors...and just jailbreak with redsn0w 0.3... no restore needed
