Well i tried to put a custom boot logo on my 2G ipod through the firmware and everything even using NOR firmware, but when i restore the ipod, it shows up as a blank boot logo which is weird because everyone that did it worked. Any ideas???

You have to delete a pixel in any corner and save as a 32bit PNG from paint.net.
    I had the same problem

You need to make sure transparency is somehow somewhere in the image.
Wether that is one transparent pixel, or all pixels of a certain color or whatever doesn't matter.
Just be sure to save it with transparency. You can do that with irfanview, paint.net, photoshop, gimp...
