ok so i've used unofficialsnow to jailbreak my ipod before. So now, i've decided that i want to try out quickfreedom to do the job. but i've encountered some problems. But first here are my specs: -i have an ipod touch 2nd gen -i have vista running as my os -i've also restored my ipod to 2.2.1 So here's the problem, i've quickfreedom to create custom firmware and tried to turn my ipod into dfu mode. Only except my itunes can't even detect my ipod (i know how to do this i've done it plenty before.). So i decided to try testing it while on and still no sign that itunes recognizes it. so while restarting. ive encountered bluescreen of death =. = so i restored it, losing my quickfreedom software but still left with the custom ispw and the original ispw. So i was wondering. Can i just try putting my ipod into dfu mode, use the prejailbreak from unofficialsnow and continue with the quickfreedom custom ispw or will it screw me over? also, what about quickfreedom gave me the blue screen?
