So the battery on my Ipod Touch 2G seems to be going down the tubes, it's giving me roughly 6-8 hours of music playback, and I am wanting to take it into an apple store and hopefully get a new one. Do I have to set up an appointment or can I just walk in with it? Thanks guys

Just think twice before you decide to piss someone off at the apple store

I'm wondering because I've called a couple apple stores, told them what I want, and they've both told me to make an appointment. The only problem is that they don't have any appointments left for today, and I'm heading back home this evening and there isn't an apple store in my home town.

Maybe they have a Jail, therefore you have to perform a Jailbreak to escape.

Just go in there and ask if you can see a apple genious about a issue. if they say make a appointments then do. they cant bite you in the balls just for asking for help.
