Hey guys, is there any difference in size between the iPod Touch 3G and the 2G? I got a 3G yesterday, and looking around for a case (among other things), almost all of them say they're for the 2G, and I want to make sure I don't fork out $40 on a case and have it not fit. Anything I should be aware of?

Bump. My only question is if the 2G and the 3G have the dimensions.

Which is still pretty much exactly the same.

Well just make sure that you get a case that doesn't cover up the front glass at all. Then you can get whatever case you want. If you get one that goes over the front, then it would probably be good to make sure that it is compatible with the 3rd gen light sensor. (Or just dont use auto brightness)

I have a case that covers the front and bottom parts of the screen, but it has a small hole that allows the light sensor to see through.

Ya, thats what i meant, but the hole would have to be in a different place for the 3rd gen.
