i know i know...."search the forums" my internet connection on this side of my house is crap so... i was lucky to even get to this page. Well, my ipod got stuck on the apple logo with the little loading circular thing. Then as it's "loading" it just freezes leaving me the apple logo. I guess i have to force revoer but i have 1.1.1. If i recover will i have to update to 1.1.3 ?

Not if you have the firmwares saved on your computer for you to Shift+Restore to.

Download the 1.1.1 firmware from somewhere, would give you a link but I'm I'm on my touch...

    1. Connect iPod to computer and open iTunes
    2. Hold sleep and home buttons
    3. Let go of sleep button when you see the iPod disconnect from iTunes
    4. Let go of the home button when you see the iPod reconnect to iTunes
    5. Shift restore to the 1.1.1 firmware and start the jailbreak process if you want to.

Edit: Had to leave my friends house so I would lose wifi so I had to post quickly and missed some steps. Also bookmark this page http://wiki.iphonegameover.com/Firmware_download it has all the ipod touch firmware.
