Hi guys, thanks for taking the time to read/answer this

Ok, so my problem is that after I added my GMail account to Mobile Mail it keeps trying to add messages, some dating back to June. I wanted to know if there is something I can do to make it stop trying to retrieve those messages, and, if not, if there is some sort of delete all button or another way to delete all of the messages at once.

Thank you again for your time,

    Paul

If you haven't already, I'd suggest configuring it for IMAP rather than POP - that'll basically sync your Inbox on your iPod Touch and your Gmail account.

Then you can go into your Mail settings (Home screen -> Settings -> Mail) and you can select to only show the last 25 or whatever messages in the box. It'll only download other folders (like Sent, etc.) if you navigate to those folders.

No delete all button though - sorry...

    I'll give it a shot.

    Thank you,

Put your finger on the email, as if you were going to open it. Then slide your finger to teh right. The "Delete" button will pop up.
