Quick iPhone Question

    I'm going to be getting an iPhone, but do I HAVE to have a plan, or can I use it without one, just as I would use my current iPod Touch.

    you will likely be forced by your iphone cellular provider to get a data plan

    so theres NO WAY i can just buy one and use that how it is.

    what some companies like to do is force you to pay FULL price (very max. they can go) if you choose not to subscribe to a plan. generally speaking plans usually offer a subsidized price.

    eg. Nokia N95- 399$ on 3 year plan. but 799$ with no plan.
