Quick Intro question

    So, in puttering around the site I've seen a couple threads that make it sound like if you have access to an Intel Mac, then there is no reason to download the toolchain because you can just get the SDK for free, write and compile your apps, and then ssh them onto your ipod touch. Is this the case?

    And why would you get the Toolchain if you have a Mac? ...

    Just SSH the .app folder into your iPod Applications folder, then:
    chmod +x MyApp.app/MyApp
    ldid -S MyApp.app/MyApp

    ldid is L not I.
