    hey
    im new to this
and ive done alot of reading
    found out alot
and ive downloaded and run quick freedom
made my custom .ipsw know how dfu works and all that

well to the problem i get to the last steps
and i put my ipod touch 2g into dfu mode then itunes recognises it
but as soon as i put it into pre jailbreak itunes shows a dialogue box saying

cannot conect to the itunes update server, there is not enough memory

    or something realy similar

im not sure what is causing this

and then it doesnt recognise the ipod till i turn it off and then put it back into dfu mode, so i cant get to the stage to click on the restore button,
ive tried alot of tthings, using other programs to get into the pre jailbreak mode, deleting drivers reinstalling them, clicking restore while in dfu to browse and then going into jailbreak then trying to restore, but it doesnt work
im going to try to use a previous version of itunes, because alot of the tutorials i have noticed they are using older versions

but if anyone has any suggestions for ways to make itunes show the ipod while in pre jailbreak anything would be appreciated
