Could you please take the poll...take ur iPod/iPhone dock cable and look at the end where it connects to the cable. Over there, can you tell be if you see gold thin bar within some of the holes...thanks.

My iPod started acting up recently...all sorts of problems. First, iTunes doesnt recogonize it once in a while. Then later on, when I connect the ipod to my mac, it claims that the iPod drawing too much power so it will not allow the connection to the iPod.

It sometimes works, but I wanted to know if its my cable thats wierd or if its my iPod. My only worry is if the gold bar is actually part of the ipod and the bars got stuck within the holes...

It might be the cord. You should try getting a different cord and see what it says.

My Shuffle did that before. I think it was the cable in that instance.

My sister's shuffle was totally blown. Damn it, we bought a new cable and everything.
Anyway. It might be the cable. Get a new one from one of your friends or something.
