Quick Bitrate Question

    sorry if im posting in the wrong place here but when converting avi to mp4 what difference does it make if you have a high low bitrate???

    Don't know if you'll see this because you posted so long ago, but...

    The higher the bitrate, the better quality your video will be. The downside is that you're file size will be bigger. I use Handbrake to rip DVDs to my iTunes/iPod, and I really like it. Just play with different settings until you get a quality that you're happy with and a file size you can live with. They have pre-sets also. I think 2500 is the maximum that an iPod can handle.

    Use iPodME to convert your videos, excellent quality and almost cuts the size in half.
