I bought my iPod Touch 2G on 12/25/08 and by now the basic warranty is expired. I'd like to buy AppleCare because I'm having problems with the headphone jack and would like to get it replaced. Is it too late to buy it since it's been after a year since I bought it?

    Thanks.

yep. you have to buy applecare before the basic warranty expires

if i was in your position i'd sell the ipod before the headphone jack completly breaks , then save up some more money and buy an ipod touch 4

Bummer. I'll probably take your advice then. Thanks.
