I've been reading threads for about 1 hour and I still can't find the answers to some of my questions.

BTW I have 1.1.3 and ipod Touch.

    1. Is 2.0.1 the newest version?

    2. Is 2.0.1 avalable from iTunes. Can I download it on iTunes and update the firmware that way?

    3. Is it free?

    4. If 2.0.1 is not released yet, is 2.0 avalable from iTunes?

    5. Is 2.0 free?

    6. Should I go to 2.0.x from 1.1.3?

    1) Yes

    2) Yes, but you need 2.0 on your iPod (Or download FWChanger from Installer and change your firmware to 2.0 and the build version to 5A347)

    3) Only if you have 2.0, illegally, bought, or the above method

    4) 2.0.1 is released

    5) 2.0 is $10 in iTunes, or free from "other places"

    6) Doesn't matter

1: Yes, 2.0.1 is the newest version.
2: It is available on iTunes with the "Update" feature.
3: Yes if you are already on 2.0, no if you are on any firmware below 2.0.
4: 2.0.1 is released. So most likely not, iTunes will have you get the latest version.
5: No, it is 10 dollars via the iTunes store.
6: It's safe to do so, but it is up to you. Note: When updating to 2.0 or above, you will have to restore your device. BACK UP your DATA!

    1. Is 2.0.1 the newest version? Yes, 2.0 is the NEWEST Firmware for the iPod Touch.

    2. Is 2.0.1 avalable from iTunes. Can I download it on iTunes and update the firmware that way? Yes, it is. In order for 2.0.1 to be available though you will need 2.0. So, in that case its fare for the people who actually bought 2.0

    3. Is it free? For you no. You need to plug your iPod in and let iTunes give you the pop up saying a new update is available. Once it does you will have to buy 2.0, THEN update to 2.0.1. Or it might just update you straight there.

    4. If 2.0.1 is not released yet, is 2.0 avalable from iTunes? 2.0.1 is available, but so is 2.0 so both are.

    5. Is 2.0 free? For iPhone user's yes, for iPod Touch user's it is a small one time fee of $10.00

    6. Should I go to 2.0.x from 1.1.3? Definitely. 1.1.3 was a softgrade. 2.0 is a brand new Firmware with some new features too.

That isn't being helpful at all... If your going to post and try to attempt to raise your post count, make sure they are actually helping.
