I have some questions about jailbreaking:

    1. Can I jailbreak my iPod Touch 3g 3.1.3 without having to download old firmware

    2. Is there any way to jailbreak without is screwing up my iPod. I keep reading things like "some users report wifi issues" and all these other problems that go with jailbreaking

    3. redsn0w seems to work without needing iTunes (I can dual boot into Windows but I don't want to redownload iTunes just for Windows) but somewhere it said about it being tethered only. Is this true?

There is a 99% chance that you will be able to fix anything that goes wrong.

    Not an approved statistic

    1. No, you cannot jailbreak 3.1.3., however, if it is an 8GB, you can downgrade.

    2. You can always fix it if something goes wrong.

    3. Redsn0w does not require itunes, only blackra1n does
