    the other day i add an app. by accident.
    when i went to uninstall it all i could od is reinstall.
    is there a way to delete it?

    FTP-go to apps folder and delete it.

    You certainly can remove the file(s) via SSH, then remove them from temporary files in Installer, but if this is a setting or tweak, be sure you know what you are doing before you delete anything manually.

    You need to to us what this app/package that you want to uninstall is.

    I believe the directory is ~/Library/Installer...localPackages or something. It's been a while. Look for yourself, but don't delete anything on a whim.
