Hey i dropped my iphone 4 on the floor and the back of the glass is cracked all over! where the apple logo is, i bought the phone 10 days ago. I have apple care and was wondering what would happen, will they fix this for free? with apple care or i need to buy a brand new iphone?

Nope, they won't fix it. Their warranty, like most other companies' warranties, only cover hardware defects, not accidental damage. At this point, your only option is to cover it up with a case or buy a new one.

I'm not exactly sure, sorry. You're going to have to talk to Apple. But I know the price to repair iPod Touches is around $200 USD. I'm not sure about iPhone 4 though.

im pretty sure it will cost a pretty penny even if they do fix it in store. ifixit.com should have a replacement glass back soon, but until then you should get a case and cover it up.

search the internet for people in your area who can fix it. replacement for the glass on 3gs in LA i heard is around 75$ and takes around 15min or so...you can do it yourself for much cheaper so be on the lookout for replacement glass on ebay, for example.

luckily my fingers are like glue and i never dropped my iphone 3gs

Just do the same as Engadget , since it's broken , the warranty is over .

So here is the solution : FIX

    1. - Buy it here

    2. Open it , it is the easiest iPhone to open ( especially for battery changing ) : iFixit Guide to remove the back panel

Before you do anything take it to Apple and find out your official options. This is why I have a Otterbox Defender on my 3GS. Accidents happen!,,
